What a great feeling. It was funny because as our foursome approached the tee box, there was a lady collecting donations to enter a hole in one contest with the proceeds going to our local first tee organization. For $10. 00 you receive a sleeve of balls and 10% off a clubhouse purchase. However, if you made a hole in one, you would win a new set of ben hogan irons along with $1,500. 00 bucks. Everyone in my fousome paid the $10. 00 and all were fairly close to the hole. I decided not to donate, ( a decision I would sorely regret). I was last to hit, pulled out my sand wedge, just expecting to land on the green. I hit the ball and with a little draw, my ball landed about 3 feet past the hole, had a backspin one it and back up right into the cup. I guess it just goes to show, donate whenever you can. ....... Lol I should have gave her my 10 anyway. Well, I ended up buying the beer afterward and was the talk of the clubhouse,
