Hernando T Cayanan of AP, Japan scored a hole-in-one on 03/15/09. The ace occurred on Hole 17, a par 3, 132yd hole at Whispering Pines located in NAF Atsugi, Japan.

Hernando scored the hole-in-one with a 8 Iron and had this to say about it:

"It was a seven holes carry over and I was kind of struggling all day. I was playing with my regular weekends group, they didn´t look that happy while I was jumping up and down and yelling. I was doing the sign # 1 on my point finger, while my other buddy is giving the middle one. It was really great!!"
