Rosie scored the hole-in-one with a 3 Wood and had this to say about it:

"It was the 2007 Sharky´s Spring Shootout. This is only the thrid time I´ve actually played a round of golf...an absolute beginner. When peopole say it´s better to be lucky than good, this is definitely the case. I chose the 3 wood because I can´t hit very far, and the iron´s weren´t doing anything for me. I stepped up to the box, put my ball down and just swung. It bounced up and rolled right into the whole. As one of the guys I was playing with said, it hit the pin straight on. My teammates were asking me if I had realized what I just did, and I didn´t know what to say. It took me a while to process but when we ended and everyone congratulated me, it started to sink in. Now I am able to brag about it, but believe me when it happened I was in complete shock."
