Ian A. Fraser of Stratford, Ontario, Canada scored a hole-in-one on 10/30/03. The ace occurred on Hole 11, a par 3, 217yd hole at Stratford Municipal located in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.

Ian scored the hole-in-one with a Driver and had this to say about it:

"It was on the 11th hole (we played the back 9), a 217 yard par 3. We were into a stiff wind and I used a driver. I didn´t see the ball flight. One of my playing partners said "good shot, you should be just to the right of the green". (I started it left playing for a fade) Another partner hit & his ball sailed straight towards the green & the pin. Jokingly I said, "If it keeps on going, I´ll have a Beer". After we all hit, we walked towards the green & I couldn´t see my ball to the right of the green, alot of leaves about. I saw what looked like a ball half submerged in the cup resting against the pin which was being blown forward by the wind. I went up to it & low & behold, it was my ball! IN THE HOLE!! Once the pin straightened to normal, plop, in it went!The guy I joked about the beer was all over me of course, "well, you were ordering drinks" he said. "
